Dr. Benjamin Potvin
Veterinarian and Owner
Dr. Benjamin Potvin grew up on a farm in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia and earned his DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, with particular interests in surgery and dentistry, and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, high-quality medicine. Ben is equally passionate about preventative medicine, working closely with clients to support long-term health and quality of life for their pets through practical, proactive care.
Outside of the clinic, he enjoys an active Okanagan lifestyle with his wife, Alyssa, and their two young boys—spending as much time as possible running, skiing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. He has a small hobby farm with cows, pigs, chickens, a large garden, a cat named Pickles and his two beloved red border collies, Cedar and Maisie.

Our Team
Jack Heydarian
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary and Animal Husbandry from the University of Central Florida, Jack packed his bags and headed to Seattle. He spent over a decade working in emergency veterinary settings at the Seattle ASPCA and then in Vancouver, where he gained invaluable real-world experience. Animal welfare is his absolute passion, and he’s an animal lover through and through.
In practice, he particularly enjoys dentistry and worked many years under the guidance of dental specialists and orthopedic surgeons with companion animals.
Recently, Jack and his spouse moved to Vernon from the lower mainland. They share their home with two very energetic and sweet dogs, Alfie and Arnie, and a bunch of fish that keep them busy. When he’s not in the clinic or behind the camera, you’ll usually find him exploring the outdoors, travelling with his pups, road cycling, running, and soaking up the beauty of the Okanagan.
Jack is also a professional photographer who loves capturing those special moments both with people and pets.
Wendy
Born and raised in Oyama, Wendy has always had a deep passion for animals and knew from an early age that a career in veterinary medicine was exactly where she belonged. She pursued her education through Olds College and has now been working as a veterinary technician for more than 30 years.
Throughout her career, Wendy has dedicated herself to providing compassionate care to animals and supporting the families who love them. Her experience, knowledge, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does.
Wendy lives in Lake Country with her husband, daughter, and their two beloved fur babies, Douglas and Butter. Outside of work, she can often be found driving the ski boat for her husband, an avid waterskier, or enjoying walks along the rail trail with the dogs.
Animals have always been at the center of Wendy’s life, and after more than three decades in the field, her passion for veterinary medicine remains as strong as ever.

She believes every pet deserves compassion, patience, and gentle care, no matter their size or background.
Camille loves supporting your furry family members and helping create a calm, positive experience for both pets and their people.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, wine tasting, and making the most of life in the beautiful Okanagan with her friends. She lives with her boyfriend and shares her home with her rescue kitten, Elizabeth, and her fish, Frank Ocean.
